Merge PDF files without uploading them anywhere

Merging is the most common reason people reach for an online PDF tool, and usually the most sensitive: the files being combined are typically an application, a claim, or a submission — bank statements, ID proofs, invoices, certificates. Those are exactly the documents you do not want sitting in a stranger's upload bucket.

This merger runs on your device. Select two or more PDFs, arrange them in the order you want, and the combined file is assembled in your browser and handed straight back to you as a download. Nothing is transmitted.

Page content, text selection, and embedded fonts are preserved as-is — merging copies the original page objects rather than re-rendering them, so the output is not degraded or flattened into images.

How to use it

  1. Open the merge tool and select the PDF files you want to combine, or drag them onto the drop area.
  2. Check that the files are in the order you want them to appear in the final document.
  3. Press Merge PDF. The combining happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
  4. Download the merged PDF.

Questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?
Up to 50 files in one go. The practical limit is your device's available memory rather than the file count, since every page has to be held in the tab while the merge runs.
Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Merging copies the existing page objects into a new document rather than re-rendering them, so text stays selectable, fonts stay embedded and images are untouched.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Remove the password first using the password tool, then merge the unlocked files.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on this site runs inside your browser tab using WebAssembly. Your file is read from your disk into the tab's memory, processed there, and written back out as a download. It is never sent over the network, so there is no server copy to leak, subpoena, or forget to delete.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no signup, no email, and no login on any tool. You can use every tool an unlimited number of times without identifying yourself.
Is there a file size limit or a daily limit?
There is no daily limit and no artificial size cap. The real ceiling is your device's memory: roughly 200-500MB per file on a desktop, and closer to 50-100MB on a low-end Android phone. Past that the browser tab can run out of memory.
Is the output watermarked?
No. Output files are clean. Nothing is stamped on them, and no page is added.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The tools run in any modern mobile browser, including Chrome on Android and Safari on iOS. Large files are slower on a phone than on a laptop because the processing happens on the device itself.
Does it work without an internet connection?
You need a connection to load the page the first time. Once the page has loaded, the actual PDF processing needs no network at all — you can turn off your Wi-Fi before pressing the button and the tool will still work.
