We work to keep the tools correct and the site online, but we do not guarantee that any tool will be free of defects, that the site will always be reachable, or that it will work in every browser on every device.

Check the output before you rely on it

The tools run on your own device and produce a new file. Always open the result and confirm it is what you expected before you delete an original, submit a document, or send it to anyone.

Keep your original file until you have checked the output. Because nothing is uploaded, we hold no copy and cannot regenerate a result for you.

What the tools can and cannot do

These limits are stated on the tool pages themselves as well, because a limitation someone finds out about after the fact is a broken promise:

• Compression recompresses images inside the PDF. It substantially reduces the size of scanned documents and does very little for text-only PDFs.
• Rotation applies to every page in a document, not to a page you select.
• The watermark tool stamps text only, not images or logos. A watermark deters casual reuse; it is not a security control and can be removed by someone determined.
• The password tool adds a password, or removes one you already know. It cannot crack, bypass, or recover an unknown password, and must not be used on a document you are not authorised to open.
• Word to PDF conversion is not offered, because it cannot be done accurately in a browser.
• File size is limited by your device's memory, not by us. Very large files can exhaust a browser tab, which is more likely on a phone than on a computer.

You are responsible for making sure your use of the tools complies with the law and with any rights attaching to the documents you process, including copyright and confidentiality obligations.

This site displays advertising served through Google AdSense, and ads may link to sites we do not control. We do not choose individual ads, endorse the products in them, or vouch for the sites they lead to.

The same applies to any other external link on this site. Once you leave PDF Kaam, the content, privacy practices, and security of the site you land on are that site's responsibility, not ours.
